We've got the Cyber Neon version and the Silver one as an alternative if you don't like the flashy gaming aesthetics.So what's the point of this review then? It is obvious that many reviewers who vote this down have fundamentally misunderstood the point and purpose to the film, and it is refreshing to see a Director taking on much more important issues of the human condition and the complex dynamics that interaction with others, relationships and friendships bring. Magic Magic received mixed to positive reviews from critics. That's it. I kind of was thinking a little bit of the movie from 2001 called "Wendigo", not that the story is similar at all, but in its unforeseen storyline and the closeness of the characters... Watch it if you spooky movies that plays with the media itself, don't watch it if you like random shock effect typical slasher films or ghost story with predictable endings..

Maybe people who like this sort of films would enjoy it, but for me it was just a waste of time. Overall, a movie that really comes out of nowhere and makes you feel uncomfortable the whole time, which in this case is a good thing.

April 22, 2014 I must have misinterpreted this film. That being said, the "random" events that happen throughout that seem to have no impact on the entire film actually do make sense.
