The conceit is a really terrible performance of "The Cherry Orchard". I think Keanu Reeves said it was an existentialist romantic crime caper which, actually, pretty much hits the nail on the head! It's just a nice, loving, oddball little film that any guy should treat his date to and probably earn a few points thereby.
