Deep inside, you know you're him. 2000年に訪米したときに初めてテレビで見て以来、ずっとビデオ化を待ち望んでいました（DVDではリージョンが違うので見れません）。日本のテレビでは見られない斬新なコメディードラマです。巷で人気のドラマSex&Cityも同じHBOが製作してますが私は断然Curbを選びます。「むっつりすけべはげオヤジ」の主人公、ラリーはいつもとんだ災難に巻き込まれてしまいます。というか巻きもこまれるようなキャラクターなのでしょうか。ドラマでありながら造りっぽくなく、日常でも起こりうるような場面が面白く展開していきます。またアメリカ人の特徴描写もうまいです。本当は★５つとしたいところですが、何せ字幕・吹き替えなしなので英語力が要求され、その苦労分★を１つとりました。ただしこれを逆手にとると、英会話の教材としても楽しめます（ラリーを始め登場人物の英語は比較的聞き取りやすいのでこの点でもおすすめ）。次シリーズが待ち遠しいです。 This product was perfect.
