I don't like books that take forever to describe things and this book basically did that the whole time. Just when you thought you couldn't get anymore curveballs.... She throws a lion to ya. There just wasn't anything good to grasp onto. The band was formed as a result of Tyler and Tim meeting during a co-writing workshop in 2012 in North Hollywood, CA. Mally is thoughtful, solitary, and independent. No one knows who they are under the hood...all except for you, right now reader~ The two people hiding under the mask are Morro and his sister and Twin, Alyssa.

The writing was very descriptive and I could easily imagine the Ridgeline wilderness and imagine myself skiing through the woods as Mallory did. I would have loved the cover, loved the boyz, loved the "gothic" and "supernatural" overtones. So, there friend Eden is the lion. Vinyl; plot notes. Holly is a Faber Academy graduate, and Midnight's Twins is her debut novel and the first in a trilogy. This book was actually an enjoyable book, as its plot was very interesting. Get this from a library! Even though the Midnight Twins trilogy is just that — a trilogy, book two of this series is NOT a filler book, like most Book 2's tend to be. The twins thing had been done to death but its still fun to read about. This time, the twins, Merry and Mally, had to use their visions to figure out why this moutain lion was maiming everyone. I have way too many other books to read to waste my time on a good story that just isn't written very well.Second book in the series, it was darker than the first (The Midnight Twins) and I enjoyed most of it more that the last one. Xander is a person to not mess with. I was kinda getting into it when it suddenly became so grating. Each night they go under the cover of the shadows and use their skills to steal priceless artefacts and give them to their boss, also their cousin, Xander. Yay.I really enjoyed this book, it had a mysterious side to it. It was anticlimactic and annoying (the "twin language" I found especially grating). The midnight twins. Whatever it is, I just could not get in to this Midnight Twins sequel. But I can't imagine what Mitchard is going to do for the third. The Midnight Twins sounds so much better than it actually is, however, I will still be buying the second one. Speaking of boys, they had all these handsome, wayy older guys into them. I read this in about 2 days.I liked the first book way more. It's been too long, I've read too much in between, and I've forgotten 1) what happened in the first one and 2) why I thought it was so special.

It started of really slow and didn't really get any better.

Unlike many other twins though, they have supernatural abilities where one twin can see the past, and the other one, the future. She craftily builds up suspense, revealing a little at a time, and gently rounds out her characters by creating a few clever flashbacks in the twins' lives. It had a lot of pointless dialog and when it ended I was left scratching my head and thinking "I'm not positive about what just happened." After a mysterious and nearly fatal fi re on their thirteenth birthday, Meredith and Mallory Brynn begin having visions: Mallory can see into the past, Meredith can see into the future.
