"Losing You" is a R&B, dance-pop and indie pop song with influences of electronic music. There were SO many characters, and a lot of them had similar names--Alex and Andrea, Rick and Rory--and that made it hard to keep track of everyone. A quick read,not worth your time.

Nina's determination makes for a break-neck pace which had me up all night, empathising with her parental desperation. January 25th 2007 An emotional roller coaster ride, each and every character played an important part in this story. Top all that off with a missing 15 year old daughter - the party planner. I definitely think a good 20% of this could have been omitted without ruining the story.

I mainly scanned the book as someone had recommended Susan Lewis to me. As the season comes to a close, we wante...Nina Landry is supposed to be taking her two children on a Christmas holiday today. I read this on the Borrow Books app which is a free e-book service from my local library.Losing you was a fast paced , frantic story of a teenage child who didn't return home from a sleep over. I really didn’t like Lauren at first. But the road away from Sandling Island seems littered with obstacles. This story introduces us to Lauren Scott who is a bright and talented young girl with the world at her feet, and her mother Emma who is very close with her daughter.

Losing You should have started just before the accident as everything until this point was superfluous. My other big irritant was the endless lists.I tried not to let my pet hate for books without chapters cloud my judgement of this book. I’ve never read Susan Lewis before. If you feel like giving up on the book within the first 100 pages, don't, it's well worth the wait.Loved it! While trying to get everything ready for the trip, a surprise birthday party occurs supposedly put together by her daughter, Charlie. Losing You does not really kick off until over 170 pages in. Losing You Lyrics: Yeah-yeah / Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh / Ahh-ahh / Life's been getting hard, swear that I'll survive wit' you / Every time we chill, I feel so alive wit' you / Let me keep it real, I ain't Losing You is very well written and easy to follow. The fact that there are no chapters might normally bother me, but for this, it totally worked; the story is written in real-time, and to have broken it into sections would have detracted from the story by creating unnecessary pauses. I am so glad i held on as it was a beautiful story, a sad story, a heart wrenching story and one that had me in tears a good few times. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, and didn't want to put it down until I'd reached the end. It's a decent mystery set up by a multitude of incidents that lead to Charlie being missing and her mother desperate to find her.If you can get past the hysteria and armchair sleuthing of Nina, this book isn't too bad. I have 3 daughters and I could feel the panic and helplessness that overwhelms you when a child is missing or in danger...the story takes place in a one day period...there are no chapter breaks which is so effective because there were no brakes in Nina's search for her daughter....The last scene was worth the whole book.

I started reading late last night and was finished within a 24-hour period, which is a rarity for me. Susan Lewis is a great writer, though I cant say I'd always pick up a book from the shelf if I see her name on it.For such a slow starting book, it developed into a great read.

I got caught up in the world and characters Lewis created and wasn’t bored at any point.
