The psychic and her daughter attempt to con Houdini during a highly publicized séance to contact his mother whose death has haunted him for many years. His nemesis is a clairvoyant played by Catherine Zeta-Jones in one of her finest performances, very wittily written and with lots of nuanced subtlety alongside the big, bold character we are accustomed to seeing from her.

I am a fan of Harry Houdini, and was happy to see a more current movie made about him.
