This is an unpretentious but sincere film with quiet power, and its final scenes are moving and inspirational. This was one of those sleeper films that I never expected to enjoy and watched primarily because of my love for fellow Brooklynite Louis Gossett, Jr. As a mental health professional, I enjoyed the very REAL presentation of the therapist in this film (e.g., identifying as a therapist who also happens to be a Christian). So? Offer THE GRACE CARD ... and never underestimate the power of God's love. There are tears of emotion, but not tears shed of repentance and being made new by Jesus Christ. The Grace Card was a FAIR movie that missed the mark. The percentage of Approved Tomatometer Critics who have given this movie a positive reviewThe percentage of users who rated this 3.5 stars or higher. I loved the message of this movie but it felt a little too forced and preachy. Don’t worry, it won’t take long. Good Movie, Great Message, Acting done well, Just fell short of.....My husband and I liked the movie, alot. ...not so much a bad movie as a timid one, in that it fails to fulfill the potential of its honestly not bad script, which raises some difficult questions ... and its denouement, however predictable, is genuinely moving. He loves his wife and children with all his heart.
