Watch this film, it is excellent, this is the Directorial Debut of Jason Momoa & I just have to express if this is the kind of films he will be making I am anxiously looking forward to his next film, because finally here is a movie that deals with the kind of characters I can identify with & relate to, this movie doesn't have any of that modern propaganda going on in it, this movie is completely honestly brutally & beautifully realistic, with cool music soundtrack & a gorgeous backdrop of cross-country scenery with such magnificent cinematography, the story is excellent with powerfully emotional depth, humor & wild action, this is a well crafted masterpiece of cinematic Art at its finest!

People racist against Natives seem to be be the one's giving poor reviews. Some dvd versions have the deleted scene where all this starts, but not all (don't know why). For an independent first shot at writing & directing from an actor who does nearly all action work, I just can't find all that many flaws. Just recently watched this film Jason produced a great film really enjoyed it his character is on the run living day to day plenty of story, plot,action a good film he did well great cast support too. They wouldn't be out-matched for a second, just out-lawed, all alone & vastly outnumbered, and so, sadly lost. I look forward to more like this, I hope he will Direct more films & continue in this style, dealing with these issues & these kind of characters, the kind of realistic characters. Robert Wolf is a hunted man.After taking the life ,because of the lack of justice,of his mothers murderer,he is now resigned to stay one step ahead of the law.Jason Momoa portrays his character with real emotion and sympathy,the scenary is lovely and the soundtrack brilliant.A great road movie with an unexpected ending. This is not the same movie I saw on Showtime,so many plot parts were cut out,that the story lost its appeal and meaning.The dvd is a watered down version of the original,that's why so many bad reviews. I'm a big fan of Jason Momoa which is why I purchased this DVD. Momoa is rooted and lighthearted.
