The brotherhood is something I can identify with perfectly - my three cousins are exactly the same. 5 December 2003 Paraguay. But to my surprise, this film was amazing. No matter Kenai is in the bear form or human form, brotherhood is always there. This is the type of movie Disney was synonymous with making pre-2000's. This film may not be the absolute best Disney film (then again, almost every film after The Lion King hasn't been as good as their previous films either), this film is amazing for what it is and I believe a lot of people who haven't seen it yet would enjoy it, just like me. Its beautiful, yet simple animation, great soundtrack, great characters, good story, and great message makes this film easily one to remember and re-watch here and there for years to come.

Brother Bear 2 has some deleted scenes that were unfortunately not included on the DVD Bonus Features: Full Complete Childhood Scene (including a Young Atka). Whilst Denahi, Kenai's human brother, set out to take vengeance as he assumed Kenai was killed by a bear, in which the bear is Kenai himself transformed by spiritual power. When you need a passable family animation for an afternoon in, turn to "Brother Bear". This film was nominated for the Academy Award for Animated Feature, losing to Finding Nemo. Plus the execution was remarkable, the lush lands animated by hand will always surpass, on a storytelling level, 3D.
