„Trouble with the Curve“, wie der Streifen im Original wesentlich treffender heisst, ist ein leichtes, unbeschwertes Filmdrama, welches gute Unterhaltung bietet, leider aber kaum einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlässt. Premier rôle dans un film qu'il n'a pas réalisé depuis le film Dans la ligne de mire en 1993, ce film marque le retour de klint Eastwood comme acteur depuis Gran Torino en 2008. Considéré comme un échec commercial dans la critique pour moi en réalité ce n'en n'est pas un. Da war man von Herrn Eastwood schon gehaltvolleres gewohnt, aber er führt halt auch nicht Regie. This is a great, fun film about tension/dysfunction between father and daughter and how they deal with their relationship while the father scouts baseball players.
