I’m studying Brain Friel’s play ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’ for A level English Lit, and was wondering if anybody knew anything on the origins of this tune in particular (as it’s used during the major dance scene in the play). How complicated is this tune? I have all of the tapes but would like to know which one to look for since they are archived somewhere in my liitle black holes.Anybody?? The last 2 parts are played only at the very end, so if you’re repeating the tune (as McGuire usually did), you would play the first 10 parts twice, and then add the last two at the very end.
